In this episode Ayahuascero Chris shares the story of his initial shamanic crisis at the end of 2001, and how for the following three and half years he resisted this calling, until finally, in desperation he went to Peru in May 2004 to work with ayahuasca at the original Blue Morpho camp deep in the low jungle.
He also explains how his apprenticeship started, and how most of the training happened on a telepathic connection that he shared with his Maestros. He was formally initiated into a Mestizo lineage and mesa at the end of 2004 after four shamanic diets, but it him took another six years before he finally finished his apprenticeship.
